10 week old Jack/Chi congested and sneezing

My 10 week old puppy went to the vet for a upper respiratory problem which she is on antibiotics for, but she doesn't seem to be getting better.

She has difficulty breathing at night and she has white nose and eye discharge. She is still playing and has an appetite.

Could this be a different problem or life threatening?

These symptoms still sound like an upper respiratory tract infection and if your puppy has been on antibiotics and isn't improving then I'd strongly suggest that you take her back to your vet right away.

These type of infections can turn into pneumonia which can be very serious, and yes even life threatening. Tiny dog breeds, young puppies and older dogs are often at a higher risk of complications.

It may be that she needs a different type of antibiotic and if she's having difficulty breathing possibly something to assist with that.
