My american bull dog pees straight after drinking!
Should I be worried or will it stop he's 3 months old.
Hi Gavin
With young puppies, 'in one end and out the other' is pretty much how it goes, but by this age he should be able to 'hold it' for at least a short while afterwards, at least long enough to get to the back yard or his designated potty spot.
If he can't do this, or he seems to urinating with little or no control over it then you need to have him examined by your veterinarian to make sure that he doesn't have a physical problem that is causing this.
A urinary tract infection, a nerve problem or simply an immature bladder could all be possible reasons for this type of situation and your own vet can find out whether or not any of these (or some other issue) is to blame.
Hope this helps some, best of luck with your puppy. I expect he will have overcome this problem fairly soon.
