12 yr. old dog behavior wierd

What cause a 12 yr old pekingese to start crying incessantly, barking constantly, digging in the house and crawling into very tight spaces?

I'm afraid I can't really say why your dog is behaving this way, but clearly something is upsetting her tremendously.

It could be a physical problem, and pain or distress may cause her to act this way. Or it could be a psychological or emotional issue, perhaps something has frightened her or there's been a big change in her household and it's caused severe anxiety.

I'm afraid only your veterinarian can help and I strongly suggest that you get her a full examination right away. Whatever is causing the behavior is making her very scared and unhappy and she may be in some degree of pain. Please get her a vet appointment asap.
