27 day old puppy...HUNGRY!!

Hi my puppy is 27 days old and he has his top and bottom vampire teeth and the mom does not want to feed him anymore...I want to know what is the best puppy baby food to give him and how much do i give him and how many times a day???

Also what kind of water do you recommend???? I need to asap and purchase this stuff because he looks real hungry, and a little fussy....Please help thanx.......

At this age it's natural for the momma to begin to nurse the puppies a lot less. She may remain standing and shake them off after a short while. This is when you begin to introduce solid food.

I would recommend buying a high-quality dry puppy food and soaking it for 10 - 15 mins in hot water before giving it to your pup. This makes it easier for him to eat. If he's a small or large breed, make sure to get a food specifically formulated for small or large breed puppies. They each have unique and individual nutritional needs.

Regular water is just fine. If it's okay for you to drink it's okay for your puppy.

You will need to feed him three times a day for right now. Start with the recommended amounts on the bag of food you choose. These are guidelines, usually set according to weight/age. Let him eat as much as he wants within about 15 minutes and then pick up his bowl. He needs access to water at all times.
