I'm so sorry to hear your sad news Kathy. I hope that you are able to make your little puppy comfortable and happy during his last days.

Thank-you to everyone who responded to my question. I brought my 3 month old dachshund to the vet and was told that he has a deformation in his spine and will only live for a little while longer. I am now giving him pain medication to make him more comfortable.
