We have a litter of 9 puppies from a excellent bloodline.
All 9 puppies are healthy and starting to walk apart from one female who´s body shakes/shivers continuously while walking.
What could this be and could it be serious?
Hi Charlotte
I'm afraid that you really need to get this puppy to your veterinarian to get an answer to this question. It's not something I've seen myself and as this puppy is the same age as the others and the only one having these issues, it points to a problem somewhere.
Whether or not it's a temporary problem, or something minor or major, only your vet can tell you. Puppy development can vary from pup to pup, even within a litter, but this sounds as though it may be more than just a sign of a puppy who is slower to master motor skills.
It's always better to be safe than sorry so I really do suggest that you have this little girl evaluated by your own veterinarian just as soon as you can. That way you will know if there's anything you need to deal with, and it will put your mind at rest.
I wish you lots of luck and hope this puppy is 100% healthy.
