3 week old english bulldogs

What do you feed a 3 week old english bulldog puppy? Is there a formula that I can mix and bottle feed.

Thank You

Hi
At 3 weeks old, this pup is about ready to begin weaning, although he will still need milk for a couple more weeks.

There is puppy formula that you can buy from the petstore, the most economical option is to buy the dried, powdered formula and mix it with water for him. He should be able to lap by now, so I'd encourage him to do that as soon as possible. If necessary you can bottle feed him for a week or so.

You can also start him on a little puppy chow, soaked in hot water for 10 minutes and allowed to cool before you give it to him. Adding a little of his milk to it will also encourage him to eat it.

Although he's not a newborn, you may find my New Born Puppies page helpful, and my Puppy Development page too.

Best of luck with this little guy.
