bottle baby, Bottle issues, sometimes it takes him forever to finish the milk in bottle, which is only 1/2 tablespoon at a time. On occasion the milk comes out his nose. He sucks the roof of his mouth and hard to get nipple in sometimes.
He cannot stand or walk. What to do? Marla
Hi Maria
It sounds as though your puppy may have a problem with his palate (ie the roof of his mouth). He may have a cleft-palate which can cause difficulty sucking and drinking and the milk can be inhaled into the pups' lungs.
I'd strongly recommend that you have this little guy examined by your veterinarian just as soon as possible so that you can find out exactly what is causing his problems. There may be other health problems too, and you need to know for sure what is going on.
Please make a vet appointment soon. Best of luck, hope he's doing much better soon.
