Bleeding feet she the runt of 4 other pups, mother passed away after child birth (3 days later due to ripped uterus miss u mercedes).

Now I bottle feed 5 beautiful full breed AM terriers pit. All are big and eating well but the runt she eats good but does not seem to be gaining weight, and she isn't as active as the other 4 pups some advice would really help thanks.

Hi Moe
Sometimes the 'runt' is smaller than the rest simply because of their position and nutrition in the womb. In those cases they usually catch up during the first few weeks/months.

Other times, there is a physical problem which caused them to be so small. It's possible that this is the case with your little one. I recommend that you have her examined by your vet so that you can rule out any underlying health issues, or if there are any have them treated.

A pup who is lethargic and isn't gaining weight needs expert help. If she also has blisters on her paws it could be an infection or an immune function issue, among other things. Only your vet can give you the right answer though.

It sounds like you are doing a good job with these little ones, hand raising new born puppies is time consuming and can be tricky! Just give this one the extra help she needs by having her seen by your vet.

I wish you the best of luck with your puppies.
