4 month old cockapoo. vomiting. in the morning neon yellow

My puppy has been vomiting in the mornings. He has vomited four mornings this week.

But he is fine after. He runs around and plays so it doesn't appear that he is sick. He is teething right now could that be why?

Hi
Vomiting first thing in the morning, especially if the vomit is just yellow or foamy, generally means that the pup's tummy is simply too empty.

This is especially common in small breed pups who have metabolisms that use up their food really quickly.

Because he's probably still being housetrained and you don't want him waking up in the middle of the night to eliminate, I wouldn't advise feeding him a meal any later than 6pm but he definitely does need a dinner-time meal around this time.

Then you can also give him a couple of dry dog biscuits or something similar an hour or so before bedtime. That gives him time to eliminate again if the biscuits have stimulated his digestive system, but should help prevent his tummy from being totally empty overnight.

If this doesn't help, then I'd recommend having your vet give him a check up to see if there's anything else going on that needs to be looked at. Hope it helps, best of luck with your pup.
