4 week old puppies - one has blue eye?

My dog just had 7 puppies that are now 4 weeks old, and the daddys eyes were VERY Blue.

Some of the puppies have the dark eyes still, but there is one of the puppies that has a VERY blue eye and the other eye is dark like the rest.

Someone told me that could mean it was blind, is that possible?

Certain breeds with blue eyes also produce puppies with different colored eyes eg. one blue and one brown.

I'm not sure what breed your puppies are but this could well be what you're seeing in this puppy. Of course it's always possible that this pup has a problem with his eye, but I think it's more likely that it's simply a genetic trait.

However, I'd recommend having your vet take a look at him to be certain. Hope this helps, best of luck with your puppies.
