5 day old puppies tail looks broken, feels cold.

I have a 5 day old golden puppy that looks like
her tail is dead. It's not growing thick like
the rest of the pups tails, and feels cold to the
touch.

Will is fall off by itself or do I call the vet?????

She is nursing fine.

I'd recommend that you take this puppy to the veterinarian to see if her tail can be saved, or if it needs to be removed.

Usually docking tails is done within the first three days, and you're past that now, but the earlier this sort of procedure is done the better. If it's necessary to remove it, hopefully you can get it done right away.

I wouldn't just 'wait and see' with something like this because you don't know what's caused the problem or what is going to happen if it's left alone. So get a professional opinion.
