5 weeks old puppy have no bowel movement for 4 days. It is normal?

My 5 weeks old puppy have not go #2 for 4 days and it worry me.

He seems fine, playful and sleep good. He didn't like his milk though, we have to try feed him but he only take about 2 or 3 oz every 4 hours.

What should i do for him ?

Normally a puppy should have a bowel movement at least once a day, most puppies will go twice or three times. It's not normal for a pup to go this long without one and chances are he's a bit constipated.

This can happen during weaning, and is more common in the small and tiny breeds. I'd recommend that you visit my Helping A Constipated Puppy page as it has lots of tips and advice that will help you.

At this age he should be able to eat puppy kibble that's been soaked in warm water, and to lap water, he really doesn't need milk. Increasing his fluid intake by making sure his food is really wet and 'sloppy' might also help.
