6 MONTH OLD PUGGLE WON'T EAT AND VOMITING

I GOT A PUGGLE 2 WEEKS AGO. I CAN'T FIND THE FOOD HIS PREVIOUS OWNER GAVE ME FOR HIM. I GOT HIM SOMETHING DIFFERENT AND HE WON'T EAT IT.

I TRIED MIXING IN A TREAT WITH THE FOOD BUT HE WILL JUST DIG OUT THE TREATS GOBBLE THEM DOWN AND THEN VOMIT.

ANY IDEAS??

There are two possibilities here.

One - your pup is sick, and that's why he's vomiting and has no appetite. If he hasn't had all his puppy shots there are several contagious dog illnesses that he is at risk of catching.

Two - that the stress of coming into a new home, combined with a sudden change in diet is upsetting his digestive system. If he seems happy, healthy and active apart from his loss of appetite and food-related problems, then this may be what is going on. I would recommend that you have your pup examined by a vet soon though, that way you can make sure he's up to date on his shots and all other preventative veterinary care, and rule out any underlying health conditions.
