6 week old puppy with a swollen neck

i have a 6 week old puppy with a swollen neck on both sides of her throat

i don't know what to do to get the swelling to go down she can't eat from her mommy and she's hollering and crying and i just don't know what to give her to help her eat again

This sounds as though it could be a condition called 'puppy strangles' (or puppy pyoderma) which is caused by the lymph nodes in the neck swelling up.

It's an immune system problem and won't get better without veterinary help. She needs antibiotics and perhaps steroids to help reduce the swelling. It's also possible that one or or more of her siblings could develop the same problem so do watch out for that.

This can be fixed fairly quickly with the right treatment, but could end tragically if she doesn't get it so please get her to your vet asap.
