6 week pup throwing up curdled milk, has become weak, keeps sleeping

I have rescued an indian pariah pup, whose mother's whereabouts are not known. I feed him, cereal and milk(diluted). It's been a week now and he as been doing just fine, until today, when he suddenly fell sick after consuming 4-5 tblsp of milk. He went off to sleep and vomited curdled milk in his sleep. It's been 3-4 hours now and he is just sleeping...barely opening his eyes.

He is usually a very playful pup and is a good eater.

I don't know what to do...I am worried.

As you rescued this pup and have no idea of his medical history, including whether he's had any puppy vaccinations, it could well be that he's contracted some kind of dog illness - probably before you found him.

The symptoms you describe could be due to a number of illnesses and the only thing I can recommend is that you have him examined by a veterinarian as soon as you possibly can.

The earlier he gets a diagnosis, and the treatment he needs, the better his chances of making a full recovery. Please get him to a vet immediately.
