7 week old boxer puppy has bladder infection?

I have a 7 week old boxer puppy who tries to go potty every 5 minutes and only a few drops of pee come out we are taking her to the vet tomorrow but i suspect a bladder infection.

What would cause a bladder infection in such a young puppy she acts fine in all other areas?

Yes, a bladder infection would be my best guess too. It's pretty common.

As to what causes them, young puppies tend to squat very close to the ground when they pee, and it's very easy for them to pick up dirt/bacteria from the grass/soil etc. This can set up an infection.

Holding their urine for too long (such as being crated for extended periods) can also cause infections as the urine sits in the bladder too long.

Your vet should be able to make a diagnosis and treat any infection that is present.
