8 days old shar pei puppies poop

Hi, we have 8, 8 days old shar pei puppies. I noticed since yesterday that their poop is yellow and watery. They are active and eating, when they were born their poop was like a little ball and soft (normal).

should i be concern and take them to a doctor. Thank you

When puppies that are this young poop it's usually very soft (sort of like a mustard consistency) and can range from a yellow or orange color, to dark brown/black. It's often darker during the first day or two, that's normal.

As long as your puppies are nursing properly, feel chubby and warm, and are quiet and content between feedings, then everything is most likely okay. However, if they cry a lot, don't nurse well, feel cool/cold and aren't gaining weight then you need to get them to a veterinarian right away.
