8 week old puppy gagging and disoriented

My 8 week old puppy was very energetic and playful all day, and went down for a nap later that night... I had to drive somewhere, and woke her up from sleeping to bring her to the car.

After making my trip and bringing her back to go to sleep, she began to walk funny, putting most of her weight on the left side of her body and walking sideways. Anywhere she walked, she would quickly settle down and fall asleep. She's been whining in her sleep, and seemed to have also peed in her sleep... After she woke up from that, she began gagging as if she were going to throw up, but then did nothing. I gave her water and made her drink, but she quickly fell back asleep.

I'm afraid it's impossible for me to say what's going on with your pup because there are so many variables.

It's possible that she got nauseous in the car and perhaps even a bit dizzy. As you've probably only recently got her home, the lethargy could be due to homesickness. Or perhaps she's eaten something she shouldn't, or is sick... I'm afraid only your vet can make an accurate diagnosis.

If she's not back to normal within an hour or two (in terms of the gagging and disorientation/dizziness etc.) then I'd strongly suggest that you get her examined by a vet just as soon as possible.
