9 month old boxer puppy gets sick after eating

Our 9 month old boxer has been getting sick frequently. He has a problem of chewing stuff up while he is outside, plastic, paper, and we even found a AA battery.

He gets sick after he eats...throws the food up whole like he doesn't digest it. Lately he's been getting sick semi often. We don't know if it is because of what he has been getting into, or if he has a stomach problem.

He seems skinny, but he's very muscular and is very active.

If your pup is eating all sorts of stuff, it's perfectly possible that this is the cause of his digestive upsets.

Batteries for example contain very corrosive acid, and I dread to think what they could do to his insides! Also, an obstruction in his colon or bowel from something he's eaten could quite easily happen, and this is a serious problem.

I strongly recommend that you have your vet examine him to make sure that everything is okay internally, and then make sure that you don't leave him unattended outside where he can get into stuff like this. It could end up being fatal.

Using a crate, or keeping him in an exercise pen would be much safer and better for his health.
