9 wk old puppy lethargic and not eating

Monday, I took my new shelter dog in for a check up and second round of shots.

Less than 48 hours later she is s lethargic she can't keep her eyes open she drinks very little water and won't eat. her nose is back and forth hot and cold. she has had only one diarrhea and has been so active until now.

Is it just the shots or should i be concerned for my 9 wk old boston terrier. the vet also said she had a parasite and gave me this orange medicine to give her for 10 days. 2.5 cc she was negative worms.

It's possible that your pup is just showing a reaction to either her puppy shots or the medication that's been prescribed.

However, it's also possible that her parasitic condition is getting worse, or that she's contracted some other dog illness.

I strongly recommend that you take her back to your veterinarian for another check up, just to make sure everything is okay. Young puppies can get very sick very fast and it's always better to be safe than sorry.
