The Dachshund

In a nutshell!
The Dachshund is a bold, lively, loving little dog. Good family companion but is better with older children as it can be a bit jealous and stubborn. This breed makes a good apartment dog and traveling companion. It's fun loving, clownish behavior is endearing. Likes to bark and dig, moderately protective. Due to high prey drive instincts it doesn't do well with other small pets.
