Annabella, my little Kentucky gem!!

Our Annabella Dog #3- What's one more?

Well, I love dogs. I rescue and transport dogs. Having gotten one of my dogs from a greedy and sanctimonious breeder in RI, I have nothing but contempt for breeders.

I work so hard to save other peoples living and breathing, discarded, "trash" that I couldn't *NOT* save my Annabella.

So, off to PA with a co-worker (I live in MA), to rescue 2 little cutie pies. The adoption and vetting fees were very inexpensive, as compared to MA fees.

So a few dollars in gas, hotel room and dinner, and we were driving back the next morning with 2 gorgeous little girls. April was a spitz/chau mix I think and my Annabella- who knows? April found a happy home and Annabella was not yet ready for a permanent home so we agreed to foster her.

She's never left and never will leave.

I will continue to save dogs and railroad them all over the place, because a dog is a dog- the world around. They are the throwaways that become the most loving pets in the world.

It is said that when a person passes away, their soul "leaves" and you can feel it. Well, when you rescue an animal, something visceral happens. They know. I swear they know. There is a feeling like no other that is so powerful, I can't explain. But it's magic and it's the beginning of unconditional love.

Be patient with them. Love them just as unconditionally as they love you!!
