Annabella, My Little Kentucky Gem..

Annabella
Well, Annabella came to us at the end of April 2007. I was transporting a few rescued pups from PA to MA and she was one of the lucky ones.
She was the stinkiest, mangiest, little scaredy-cat pup in the world when she arrived, but was greeted by her big GSD brother and her big GSD sister with love and licks.
We had interviewed other couples and people looking for a "smaller" dog and found her to be fearful, reluctant and just not well suited for families without other doggy-siblings. She spoke "dog" when she first arrived. The human communication realy needed some love, trusting hands and encouragement.
Soon, she became pup #3 for us.
Since that time, we have spent many vet trips, doggy daycare trips and acquired a small fan club for this precious pup. She will forever be with our family and has been a blessed addition to our 3 dog/3 cat household.
We love her very much. She is truly a little Kentucky gem and will always be precious to us!
Please consider adopting your best friends! Sometimes I think they truly find us, if we leave our hearts and minds open :)
