antibiotics and dewormer - can they be given to a puppy at the same time?

I have a 3 month old pomeranian puppy whose under antibiotics for ten days for kennel cough.

A few weeks ago he was diagnosed with hookworms, they gave the first dose of dewormer then 2 weeks after give the 2nd dose, but few days he just started on antibiotics and it's been 2 weeks since he had his first dose of dewormer.

My question, is it safe to deworm him while his on antibiotics?

I'm afraid this is a question you'll need to ask your veterinarian as I don't have the professional knowledge to give you the information you need.

Personally I think it should be okay to give both medications, but it is always possible that there could be an interaction, or that one could be detrimental to the effectiveness of the other so you definitely need a veterinary opinion.
