bad breath

We just purchased a boxer and he has the worst breath it smells like poop.

Is this normal?

No, it's not normal for a puppy to have horrible breath. If your dog is older it could be due to tooth decay or some dental problems though.

In a puppy it could indicate worms. It should definitely be checked out by your veterinarian so that the cause can be found and corrected.
