bald around eyes

I have a litter of 8 deerhound puppies, 3 or 4 of them are bald around their eyes and resemble harry Potter spectacles.Is this a sign of puppy mange?

It does sound as though this could be mange caused my demodex mites. It's usually simple to treat with shampoos or dips, but you will need to take your pups to the veterinarian for an accurate diagnosis.

A skin scraping viewed under a microscope should show your vet if mites are the problem, then he can prescribe the appropriate treatment.
