Belly button swollen on 8wk old puppy?
Where her belly button is seems more puffy than normal. She seems a little less energetic but still plays somewhat.
It's not red and her tummy doesn't seem tender. But it's all puffed out.
I'd recommend that you have your veterinarian take a look at this to make sure that there's no treatment needed and that all is well.
If there is a lump under her belly button then it's possible that she has a hernia, these are fairly common in young puppies but usually show up very early. But they can appear at any time.
If the lump is 'mobile' then I wouldn't worry but if it's 'fixed' or hard then it could single trouble.
If there's no lump underneath but the area seems inflamed there could be an infection in her umbilical stump. This would likely need antibiotic treatment.
Either way, your vet is in the best position to figure out what's going on because he can actually see it, so discuss it with him/her.
Sorry I couldn't help more, best of luck with your pup hope she's doing better soon.
