big bump on my puppies face

this bump was like a golf ball on the side of his face and it looked like it popped....

It sounds as though your pup may have an abscess of some sort and it most likely needs to be treated with antibiotics.

It could have been caused by an injury or insect bite which became infected and then burst.

Untreated infections can get serious, so please have your pup seen by your vet asap.
