My 15 week old puppy has diarrhea with signs of blood and she's been whining when she itches her bottom area. She also looks like she might be walking a little funny.

7days ago i saw worms in her stool so i gave her the recommended dose of wormer in capsule form for her weight.

Hi Sharla
It sounds as though your pup is in discomfort and the chances are it's due to worms. If she's licking her rear a lot, is 'scooting' (rubbing her rear end on the ground) etc. then this is a good indication that she has a worm problem.

Red streaks of blood in her stool could indicate irritation of her digestive tract which can be caused by parasites such as puppy worms

If you used an over-the-counter deworming product it's likely that you didn't get all the worms, or that it targeted the wrong type of worms. The best way to be sure of getting rid of these parasites is to have your vet deworm your pup several times.

Untreated worm infestations can cause serious problems and I'd recommend that you have your vet examine your pup as soon as possible.

Of course, there could be a number of other reasons for her symptoms, but only a vet can make an accurate diagnosis. Please have her checked out asap. Best of luck, hope she's doing much better soon.
