bloody discharge

8 week old female old english X english bulldog pup is peeing a bloody discharge as if she was in heat. usually happens in morning after she has gone out once than shortly after 15 min. she has to go again. it's a small amount of liquid produced that is dark red mucus/pee.

she is with a male pup of 3 mo. but he is unable to breed at this point. is this something of concern?

I would definitely recommend that you have this puppy examined by your veterinarian as it's possible that she has a urinary tract infection.

The blood/mucus may be a sign of irritation or inflammation and it's important that your vet evaluate her so that she gets any treatment necessary.
