we just brought the dog home last night, and she is very tired, throwing up, foaming at the mouth, and seems disoriented.
her body keeps shaking, along with her head, and she can barely keep her head up. she doesn't seem to have lost her appetite yet. all though she hasn't eaten for a few hours now. but it's been a long time since i've had such a young puppy.
please help me!

Hi Amy
It sounds as though this puppy needs to be evaluated by your veterinarian right away. It's possible that the symptoms you mention are caused by the extreme anxiety and stress involved in leaving her momma at such a young age and coming into a new home.
A puppy should never be taken from it's mom and littermates before a minimum of 8 weeks old, and even then during the first few days or so in a new home there can be signs of stress during the adjustment period. You can find out more about this on my Bringing Home A New Puppy page.
However, it's also quite possible that she's suffering from one of the contagious dog illnesses that puppies are vulnerable to. It's very important to have a new pup checked out by your own vet within a day or so of bringing him/her home to make sure there aren't any underlying health issues.
I'd recommend making an appointment for your puppy asap. Best of luck with her.
