bumpy, flakey rash on back and fur matted on 2 week old Staffy pup

my 2 week old staffie pup has got a bumpy rash on his back and the fur is matted around this area.

it is dry and looks a bit like eczema. it is not bothering him and he is feeding fine.

none of the other 5 pups from the litter have this. should i be worried.

You really need to have a veterinarian take a look at this puppy to see what's going on.

Rashes like this can be caused by a number of different things, from inherited conditions to allergies or parasites.

Staffy's are predisposed to condition called Mange in dogs, and it's possible that this is what you are seeing.

However, only a vet can make an accurate diagnosis and although your puppy seems find otherwise, it's important to figure out what is causing this problem.
