Carlin Pinscher

Can you give me or direct me to a carlin pinscher breeder in Canada. I am looking for a puppy and am having a hard time finding a reliable breeder.
Hi Roxanne
This is a fairly new breed, a hybrid, and I'm not terribly familiar with it I'm afraid.
There probably won't be a lot of breeders to choose from yet, so you probably won't find one close enough for you to actually go and see the puppies and parents. The internet is going to be your best tool, and it's perfectly possible to buy a puppy from the opposite side of Canada, or from the US and have it shipped to you. Of course, there is the possibility of being scammed or duped, but if you do your research, physically talk to the breeder (not just email communication) and get references from previous purchasers of a breeders' pups, you should be able to make a good choice.
Here in the US there is an organization devoted to the Carlin Pinscher, it's website is located at www.carlinpinscher.org I would suggest starting there. Puppyfind.com is a good source for finding puppies online, but you'll need to follow the guidelines above.
If possible choose a breeder who gives you a health contract/guarantee and whose breeding dogs have been screened for any genetic illnesses/defects associated with this breed.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful, but hope this gets you started and I wish you the best of luck in your search.
