chihuahua cant born her other babies..

Is it normal for a chihuahua to only have one baby then still doesn't have the rest when her belly is still big, and cries very loud?

Help i need answers i'm very worried.=[

It is possible for a chihuahua (or any dog, particularly the tiny ones) to have only one puppy. But, if your dog is crying and seems in pain, chances are there is another puppy (or more) and it's possible that it could be stuck in the birth canal.

Chihuahuas are tiny dogs, but their heads can be quite large in relation to their bodies and this could cause problems during whelping.

If you're in any doubt, or worried, ALWAYS call your veterinarian (even if it's outside of normal hours, there's usually a 24 hour emergency number available or you can call a local animal emergency clinic). It's possible that you could lose both the mom and the puppie/s if she is in trouble and doesn't get help.
