Hi, I have a 2 1/2 month old chihuahua puppy who since last night has seemed really weak and she stumbles when she walks like she can't keep her balance.
I have no idea what's wrong and our vet is closed on the weekends. She has had her first set of shots which were given a few days ago.
Hi
You need to take this puppy to be checked out by your veterinarian as it's impossible to say what is wrong with your pup without a hands-on exam.
Small and tiny breed dogs can suffer from hypoglycemia (low blood sugar levels), which can cause all sorts of problems such as weakness, dizziness, loss of co-ordination and more. Feeding small meals frequently can help to keep their blood sugar levels regulated and prevent this problem.
However, only a vet can make an accurate diagnosis so please have your puppy examined by your vet asap. Best of luck, hope he's doing much better soon.
