why sometimes my puppy makes a 'clicking noise' when he opens his mouth?is it due to the summer heat or an allergy?

i prefer not to keep him in an 'AC' room (but in 1 with a normal ceiling fan)

+he is normally v energetic/active,sleeps,drinks and eats well!

Hi Upali
Personally I've never known allergies or the heat to cause a 'clicking' sound, I would think that's more likely to be related to a physical problem - perhaps an issue with his jaws?

I can really only recommend that you have your vet take a look at him and see if he can find out what is causing this.

As your pup is active, and eating and drinking normally, I doubt it's a serious or urgent issue, but should be investigated all the same.

I wish you the best of luck with that little cutie!

my sincere apologies....i just missed out on that...

anyway, polo visited his vet this eve and i asked him if there is something wrong with polo's pallet.he said if that was the case then the sign(s) or symptom(s) would have been different.but then he checked him with a stethoscope and also checked the mouth pallet and said nothing is wrong in there.he just prescribed a nasal drop for polo to be on the safer side.
...(the vet is quite renowned in my area)....
