we almost lost her by: mommy
yesterday, we attempted to get Lacey fixed. She was allergic to the anesthesia and died on the table. The vet had to use epinephrine and was able to get her back to us. We don't know if we will risk her life again. She is now resting comfortably. She slowly is coming back to her old self. but in the meantime, she will be babied and watched closely. Lacey we love you...don't do that again!

When I first met this puppy, my heart just melted! You can be rough housing with her one minute, but as soon as you pick her up, she puts her head on your shoulder, calms immediately down, and cuddles with you! An absolute dream!!

THE best playmate ever!! by: Betsy
Having played with Lacey (as did my 5-year old daughter) just days after she arrived in Oreland, I can personally guarantee she is THE best playmate ever. I particularly enjoy when she runs, dropping her rear haunches, like there's no tomorrow. Very thoroughbred of her. Perhaps the best, however, is when Lacey barks over the fence at our 100+-pound German Shepherd from the safety of her back porch. She's SO big and tough. A real god-send of an addition to our next-door neighbors' family, as well as our neighborhood.
