I HAVE THIS 10 WEEK OLD PUPPY SHE IS VERY WEAK AND WILL NOT EAT MUCH. SHE TRIES TO EAT BUT SHE VOMITS THE FOOD BACK UP, THIS JUST STARTED .

WHAT CAN I DO

Hi Ijahmek
You need to have your puppy examined by your veterinarian asap. Puppy vomiting is often one of the first signs of several contagious dog illnesses that puppies are prone to catching.

Even if vomiting isn't caused by illness, and is a result of eating something she shouldn't etc., repeated vomiting can very quickly cause a pup to become dehydrated which is serious in itself.

I'd strongly recommend that you take your pup to the vet asap.

Best of luck, hope she's doing much better soon.

Im so sorry - heres a tip
by: Anonymous

ok, first im so sorry to hear about your puppy! Oh my goodness. Ok so me and my family have a few dogs and sometimes each of them will have a day of vomit and then thats it. Usually it's just a little doggy "bug" so to speak. But if your pup is seriously vomiting alot, more than one day of vomiting just 1 or 2 times, than i agree with the earlier comment, take the pup to your vet, consult your breeder, if you got him/her from the pound, it could be anything. And i'm not sure that this tip applies directly to your problem, but if you puppy ever gets weak, try putting just a dab of corn syrup (you can get if from your grocery store)on your finger and offing it to him/her, or putting it in her water, as long as you make sure she licks some of it. That will give the puppy enough energy to get back on its feet, drink some water, eat some food, and get nutrition back in her body. I really hope you find out what's wrong. Please let us know how your puppy is doing, i feel for you.

PS: has he/she had all three sets of shots? If you bought him/her as an older dog, has she/he had shot boosters? If not, he might of picked up something from outside, on a walk, or if you neighbors have pets, they could have passed something on to you dog. Either way, you prob need to see a vet. I'm not sure what location your in but I go to Mill Creek Animal hospital. I seriously reccomend you see a vet, or that dog could die. Im so sorry, I hope it turns out all right for you.
