coughing puppy

my puppy keeps coughing. he eats grass and i thought maybe that's why he's hacking... it's like he's got something in his throat. what can it be?

If he's coughing a lot he may have a viral illness called Kennel Cough. Or he could have a respiratory tract infection, or some other dog illness.

Eating grass may make him vomit, or gag, but it won't cause a persistent cough.

This little guy needs to see a vet as soon as possible so that you can find out what's wrong and get it treated.
