cyst behind puppys' jaw

I have found a cyst on my puppy located on the neck behind the jaw. It is round and hard, underneath the skin.

Doesn't seem to bother him, and it does not effect the skin. What should I do?

Hi
If this doesn't seem to bother your pup, doesn't look hot/red/inflamed and isn't growing in size, then I doubt it's an emergency.

However, it's definitely something you need to discuss with your vet in the near future. It could be that it's a harmless cyst, or it could be a swollen lymph node perhaps indicating infection somewhere.... only your vet can make that diagnosis so have him checked out soon.

Best of luck.
