Dog hasn't pooped since giving birth....

I have a beagle that had 6 puppies on Wednesday and it's now Saturday and she has not pooped.

She's drinking and eating. Is this normal?

If you're absolutely certain that your dog hasn't had a bowel movement in four days then I would really recommend that you call your veterinarian and ask for their advice/opinion.

It could just be that she's a bit constipated, when a dog is nursing puppies she needs a lot more fluids than normal. However, it could also be that there's a problem somewhere that needs to be evaluated by a professional.
