The Culture Clash by Jean Donaldson Although not your average, step-by-step book on dog training, in my opinion this book is a 'must read' for any puppy or dog owner (and all prospective dog owners too). An informative book that that explains, in depth, how dogs learn and why they behave in certain ways, it is a great tool that will enrich and strengthen the bond between you and your dog. If you truly understand your dogs' nature and behavior, you will be much more successful in your training efforts, and both you and your dog will ultimately be happier.

These are not your average 'sit, stay' training DVD's, but if you have an older pup (or dog) whose behavior is in need of an overhaul, you really can't afford NOT to buy them.
