don't know what to do with new lab puppy?

What do i feed a 7 week old lab? what do i do when he wakes me up every 3 hours whining at night?

Labs are big dogs and you need to be feeding your puppy a good quality puppy food labeled for 'large breed puppies'. You can check out my Puppy Kibble page for general info on feeding your puppy. As for him whining in the night, he probably needs a potty break. A 7 week old puppy has basically no bladder/bowel control and if he's crated he will need to be let out to go potty. He is probably also lonely and scared, and is looking for company. This is understandable, but he needs to learn that he has to sleep through the night. Go to him and take him outside when he cries, but then put him 'back to bed' and don't play or socialize with him.
