Eye care

One of my newborn Yorkie puppy has 1 eye open and the other is still shut but there's mucus all around it.

What should I do?

I'd strongly recommend that you take your puppy to see your veterinarian. It sounds as though she has an eye infection, and it's the mucus that is 'gluing' the eye closed.

Your little one probably needs antibiotics to cure the infection, and if it's left untreated it could result in permanent damage and a spread of the infection.

Young puppies can get very sick, very fast, so it's important to treat this as quickly as possible.
