four month old shepherd hound mix

how often should she be pooping, sometimes she doesn't go after eating.

Hi
All puppies, and dogs, are different so I can't give any hard and fast rules. It's not so much about how often, but more about the consistency and regularity.

If your pup eliminates on a daily basis, the stools are firm (but not hard or watery), and she doesn't have any problem passing them, everything is find.

Puppy diarrhea or constipation can occur, but as long as your puppy isn't showing other signs of illness (such as vomiting, lethargy etc.) are not present, there's not too much to worry about.

The higher quality the dog food you use, the less often (and less offensive) the stools. This is because your pup is able to digest and absorb more of the food as it's got a higher nutritional content and a lot less fillers and junk.

Hope this puts your mind at rest. best of luck with your puppy.
