GREEN BUMP ON PUPPYS' SKIN

I WAS PETTING MY PITBULL PUPPY AND I NOTICED A SMALL GREEN BUMP ON HIS SKIN. IT LOOKS LIKE IT'S FILLED WITH FLUID,IT DOESN'T SEEM TO HURT HIM THOUGH, WHAT CAN THAT BE?

Hi
Puppies can get all sorts of lumps and bumps, and generally they're nothing serious. It's impossible for me to tell for sure what it is, especially with so little information.

It could be that your pup may have a cut/scratch that has become infected and the green color is from the pus. However, this would likely be at least a bit painful for him and the surrounding area may look reddened.

If the lump is tiny, and is on her belly or bare skin, it could possibly be a staph infection. These are usually tiny red spots or pimples, with a white/green colored 'head'.

If you're worried about this I'd recommend having your vet take a look so that he/she can tell you if it's anything that needs treatment.

Hope this helps some, best of luck with your puppy.
