It's really not possible to guess at a dogs size at a particular age because they can vary quite a bit, even among pups of the same breed (or same litter!)

German Shorthaired Pointers generally weigh anywhere between 50 and 70lbs when full grown, females are generally on the lighter side of the scale.

At 8 months old, your pup may have gained approx 2/3 of it's adult weight, although it won't be mature until somewhere around 18 months of age. Generally the height comes first, then the weight.
