My name is Sue, I'm the proud creator, owner and webmaster of The Puppy Dog Place - and I have a confession to make... Six short months ago I was totally computer-illiterate! It's true (ask any of my kids!). I was afraid to touch the family PC without a teenager around for moral support, and sending/ receiving emails was the extent of my technical ability. So, how on earth have I been able to design, build and maintain a thriving, profitable website?Well, the need for some extra $$'s can be good motivator. Meet who, why and how!Who?I'm pretty sure just about everyone can relate to this - my life is busy! With 6 children, (4 still living at home), and over a dozen pets, there's plenty to keep me busy. Too busy some days. Since the day my first child was born 23 years ago, I've been a stay-at-home mom. Time has flown by in a blur of diapers, recitals, soccer games, ER visits (don't ask!), birthday parties...and more recently Prom's, graduations, and college applications. No surprise there I guess, and of course, having 4 kids in college could have something to do with that! Why? Today I'm lucky enough to be doing something I truly enjoy, without sacrificing time with my family. I'm also earning some money, and aim to earn a whole lot more, without having a 'boss' peering over my shoulder. I have pages showing up in the top ten for all the major search engines. Since adding Google Adsense to my pages less than 60 days ago, I've made enough money to cover half the cost of my SBI package. And this is only the beginning. I have huge plans for my website...and then some! I've already got my second 'niche' in mind, and within 6 months I expect to have TWO busy, profitable websites. Writing and marketing my own e-books on my own site is creeping closer and closer to the top of my 'to-do' list.
