How much food/How many poops?

How much and how often should I be feeding my 10 week old Wheaten Terrier? I am feeding her EVO.

Also, how many times a day should she be pooping? It seems like about 5 or 6?

As far as feeding goes, 3 times a day works well at this age. Evo is a very good food and she should be getting all the nutrition she needs from it.

You can bring it down to 2 feeds a day when she reaches about 4 months old.

As for how often she eliminates - all puppies (and dogs) are different and their digestive systems work at different rates. If her stools are firm and look 'normal' (ie no blood, mucus, worms etc.) then 5 or 6 times is normal for her.

If she has diarrhea or her stools are very loose, it could be that she has a sensitivity to something in the food. This would indicate an intolerance rather than a dog food allergy. Trying a different food may make a difference in that case.
